Slate Raven 29 — Case #4033

Sep 15, 2026

From the outside, Enagic distributors pitch an open, supportive community building "financial wellness." Behind the scenes on team strategy calls, it’s a completely different story. The entire push is around buying multiple units right away the "Trident" or "Quad" setup , promising it's the fastest way to hit rank and maximize payout. In reality, team leaders use stacking strategies that benefit the top of the pyramid while leaving newcomers buried in inventory and financial risk. When new distributors struggle to make sales, uplines blame their "mindset" or tell them they aren't working hard enough, rather than admitting the business model requires continuous recruitment to survive.

Crimson Phoenix 10 — Case #3290

Sep 15, 2026

I was recruited after seeing endless social media posts promising passive income, time freedom, and an exit from the 9-to-5 grind. What they don't tell you upfront is the massive buy-in required to make high-ticket commissions. When I hesitated over the price of the Kangen machines, my upline immediately pressured me to take out high-interest personal loans and medical financing to "invest in my future." Once the money was spent and the machines arrived, the support evaporated. Instead of learning real business skills, the training focused entirely on pitching friends, family, and vulnerable people on social media using the exact same scripted lifestyle hype. I ended up stuck with thousands in debt, monthly loan payments I could barely cover, and expensive equipment I couldn't sell. People need to know the financial risk before getting sucked in.

Slate Hawk 63 — Case #9695

Jun 2, 2026

I was approached by Enagic sales team while going through a really hard financial crisis. They made promises to me like "you will make money" and kept me in the dark about what this business even was even until the end of the presentation which mostly focussed on selling to other people rather than their actual product (which is almost never mentioned when posting it online). I was told you can't lose with this and that I will for sure be securing a legacy for my future. I signed up and jumped on a zoom call where I basically seen a bunch of people talking about how they are strategizing how to sell more of this business to others rather than actually trying to help people. It seemed very numbers focused and they had someone come on to talk about the psychology of sales (basically telling us how to trick people). I got a very icky feeling from the start and luckily I logged off 10 minutes later and asked them to stop any processing of payments and cancelled my sign up. It was close enough to the beginning and I no payments got taken from my account yet so I was still able to cancel but I really had to fight for it as the sales woman was extremely resistant and manipulative. I was firm and luckily I got out before being stuck with a ridiculous high interest loan that could have broke me financially. This business preys on the weak and trucks them with sales psychology making false promises. I seen a friend of mine get taken advantage of these last few month and she was in a very low spot when they got her and now she owes more money than when she started. I am truly disgusted by the unethical ways of these people. This company needs to be shut down.

Onyx Lynx 64 — Case #7469

I was in a desperate situation end of 2025. I was losing my fulltime job. Burnt out from it. And in desperate need for change. I saw the oportunity come about and jumped on a call. It sounded way to good to be true. But I was so dazzled by the possibilities I said I was in. I was so desperate and vulnerable at that moment that I didnt even do any research. I just trusted it all was good as I trusted the people who was signing me up. As a few weeks went by I was doing everything I needed to do. The training. The posting. The " attraction" marketing. And a couple months go by and i have had nothing. And keep getting told to keep pushing. Then getting told I need to cold reech. Do ads. All that. Which im already paying a huge amount a month for the loan I got . It was wild for me to pay for more [removed]. But I still did. And I was so convinced my loan would be paid off within 6 months I didnt even bother to look at the loan interest rate. I did today and almost 30 fucking%. I owe more money now then when I signed up for. Thats 10 dollars a day it ads up too. An extra 300 a month. I almost [removed] myself. How the hell am I going to achieve financial freedom with this [removed]. So im working with a broker to get me options to get out of this HIGH interest loan. Long story short. I was convinced id start making money at least within 3 months. I have technically made negative money as any money I did get. Goes to the monthly loan payment. I am more stressed about my finances more then ever. I came into this for financial freedom. And now I am more financially fucked then ever. I really hope my broker can help me out on this. As I feel so stupid and taken advantage of.

Brave Jaguar 69 — Case #5291

May 30, 2026

I joined Enagic after being exposed to sponsored paid ad on social media marketing that promoted a lifestyle of freedom, travel, flexible work, and people leaving their traditional jobs. Like many others, I was attracted by the idea of creating a better future for my family and having more freedom in my life. However, my personal experience was very different from what I believed I was signing up for. As I became more involved, I became increasingly concerned about the amount of lifestyle marketing, income-style claims, and health-related claims being shared online by distributors. I personally saw marketing focused around earning large incomes, “freedom lifestyles,” travelling, quitting jobs, and claims about making $10,000 or more per month online. I was also introduced to paid training platforms connected to learning how to market and recruit online through social media which involved additional ongoing costs. In my experience, there was significant emphasis placed on social media marketing strategies and lifestyle branding to attract new people into the online business opportunity. I later questioned whether the marketing being used gave a balanced or realistic picture of the financial risks, costs, and challenges involved. I raised my concerns directly with Enagic and provided evidence of the issues I observed. Unfortunately, I did not feel that adequate action was taken to address those concerns, which ultimately contributed to my decision to leave the online business. Since leaving, I have continued to speak up because I believe consumers deserve transparency and honest information before making important financial decisions. People should be encouraged to do proper research, understand all costs involved, and carefully evaluate any income or lifestyle claims presented online. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions only.

Onyx Wolf 58 — Case #6578

May 25, 2026

I used to think the worst part about Enagic/Kangen distributors was the constant, annoying inbox pitching. But then I saw what actually happens behind the scenes on their training calls, and it’s completely unethical. They aren't just teaching people how to sell water machines. They are actively training recruiters how to manipulate numbers and lie about income on credit applications just to get high-interest third-party loans approved. They don't care if the recruit can actually afford it, they just need the system to say "approved" so the recruiter can pocket their massive sign-up bonus. The recruit gets stuck with $16k of fraudulent, high-interest debt, while the recruiter walks away with cash. They also train people exactly how to mislead prospects on recruiting calls. There is a literal strategy to keep you in the dark, hide the full truth, and omit the actual costs until the absolute last second when you're already emotionally invested. It’s a calculated system built on deception, manipulation, and financial risk. If you have to lie, commit loan fraud, and trick your friends just to get a commission check, you aren't running a business. You're running a trap.

Cobalt Tiger 16 — Case #8392

May 24, 2026

After a very quick rush, Zoom session, everything seems so good too good. I was told that I would be supported 100% of the way and would always have somebody by my side. I would never be doing this alone and we’re gonna make lots of money together, I was desperate for friendship and girlhood and saw lots of fun stuff happening so I instantly bid on my husband actually helped me invest because of the time I was not making any income but doing small Instagram Ambassadorship’s here and there so my micro influencing numbers were kind of good from day one I hadn’t received my products after 90 days. I kept asking my mentor what was going on. She told me just keep waiting their shipping issues and it was super backlog because so many people were signing up and then it would take a little bit to get there and she wasn’t sure why then a bunch of people that I was signed underneath started cancelling so all the questions that I was promised I was getting weren’t coming, and I kept asking why the checks weren’t coming and she kept told me she didn’t know that I was moved onto another person‘s line who she told me was gonna help mentor and answer questions and decent worker because she really needed help when I confronted her from ghosting me and having valid feelings about how I tried to sign people up and then she stopped helping me get them in and they lost interest and so those are the only people that I really could’ve signed up and she told me that it was valid and that she just had so much going on in her mouth. The HEALTH was suffering. She felt like a bad mom blah blah blah blah. She told me that she felt like she was failing a lot of places in her life, but she was working these crazy hours to make it work because she wanted us all to make money then a girl that sent it before me they linked arms. I kept seeing them going out on yachts with champagne and projecting a lifestyle that she was having so much fun but behind the scenes when I kept calling her out on ghosting me and not helping me, she would tell me that she was just losing it and that you know she was doing everything she could do like make it work for all of us and that that was like how she was selling the business and then she stopped kind of answering me and then told me that it was everybody else’s business and that we had to learn how to work at ourselves and I had school, which is more than most people have signing up so that like I should get it and be able to figure it out she did lots of people do and I told her that I wasn’t comfortable anymore because I wasn’t receiving a bunch of the commissions and she had told me in the beginning if I signed up and didn’t make my money back in three months she would pay for my machine so she told me basically like what are you worried about cause I kept saying I’m worrying and cause like I’m using my husband‘s money to fund this and she kept saying well why are you worried? I told you I’d pay your machine and I thought that was pretty rude and started to like lose trust in this person in our friendship kind of became nonexistent and I literally felt so alone. I started to receive more information from the other person. She’d kind of shoved me onto and she was very kind and told me like your questions aren’t coming because they were cancelled and all the stuff that I was being not told by my original mentor not once did I have anyone put underneath me without getting help like she put two people above me that cancelled immediately then I tried to bring people in and she goes to them and then I basically said OK. I think I wanna cancel and then she’s like we’ll just try and work it just get 30 days or whatever so I kept working, hoping he was coming and then finally after like getting nothing and doing everything he said, trying to post like she said and do everything by the book learn from school all the things. I finally decided I can’t do this anymore. Another payment was about to come out. I was stressing out because the payments were more than we were making, and I was told that I had to cancel through the other person she said was helping her out so she moved me onto a dead leg. No way could’ve dug myself in or out I had to have brought him probably 10 or 15 people then I was told that to get higher up I’d have to buy more products in the future when I register her with that she was just like oh yeah no big deal just add machine on Like excuse me, you have to ask your friends and family to take big investments that a lot of people I know don’t have so they try and pray on people with desperation and put out this big flash number on unfortunately I’ve seen a lot of people buy into it. I’m not saying this to attack any people or their persons and I’m terrified that in this small town she’ll know it’s me talking but at the same time this is really bad business and it’s really bad behaviour and you truly are doing MLM work and if you’re not prepared to get everybody in your life to sign up and then quickly sign somebody else up without knowing anything they keep telling you to post as if you were or share other peoples wins so that it looks like you’re making more money that was they share my post to their page. Just beware really really do your work. Talk to a lawyer have a look at it. You can buy the machines without going through them please please please buy or beware.

Brave Dove 42 — Case #2867

May 24, 2026

Real friends don’t try to pull you into high-interest debt. For a long time, I watched people I considered friends posting massive income checks on their stories. No context, no explanations...just thousands of dollars flashed on screen. But the second you interact with that story? Boom. "You have such a great network, I have an amazing opportunity for you." I finally jumped on one of the calls, and it turned out to be for Kangen Water machines through Enagic. Here is the reality they don't put in the stories: They push you to sign up using high-interest third-party lenders. They tell you it's a $10k investment, but by the time you're done paying off that interest, you’re $16k deep in debt. On top of that, you can find the exact same water ionization technology online for a few hundred dollars instead of tens of thousands. The craziest part? Some of these people don’t even care about the water. They aren't pushing this because they love the machine; they’re just using it as a financial vehicle to collect a massive sign-up bonus off your back. It’s not about health or helping you...it’s entirely about the commission. What hurts the most is the betrayal. These were people I trusted. Real friends don’t try to trap you in high-interest debt for a commission. To make it worse, posting those checks without proper income disclosure context is actually illegal under Canadian marketing laws. The wildest part? The people running these teams know it’s illegal, yet they still encourage their downlines to do it anyway. Please be careful out there. Protect your peace, protect your finances, and know that you do NOT need to go into debt to live a healthy lifestyle.

Emerald Hawk 92 — Case #9279

May 24, 2026

I first started seeing people on my social media posting their earnings within this business late 2024, and of course I was curious so I reached out to one of the leaders who I was close with on social media I did my first info call in February - and immediately after I found out what the business was I knew it wasn’t for me … and I wish I would have stuck to that feeling A few months later and after seeing so many people I know personally joining this business and becoming successful, I reached out to ask them if it as legit and was assured it was So I joined. The cost to join didn’t bother me because as a business owner I know you have to spend money to make money, and if this $10K was promised it would be payed off within 2-5 months I thought this is a pretty good investment. I also didn’t want to do this fully as I already have a well established business that is my main focus, but was interested in possible earning an extra $5K per month My experience in the beginning was positive, there was lots of momentum and the team was growing, my team even placed someone under me within the first 2 weeks of joining so that made me believe it was all going to work out I worked hard at it. Posted every day, showed up on my stories, shared with friends and family. I felt I was hyping something up that I didn’t truly believe in because I wanted it to work out and wanted to help other people. I joined every call, paid for all the additional training etc I started to then realize that wow not a lot of people can invest $10+ K into a business , and was having very little leads I did eventually get 3 of my own people to join, and those were people who mostly wanted the machine and the benefits of the water I tried my best to mentor them and reassure them it would all work out because that’s what my up line would tell me It was exhausting constantly promoting myself online and feeling like I’m not being truthful but thought hey maybe I gotta fake it til I make it My up line made it to a 6A2 rank but definitely never placed anyone else under myself, or the girl above me, or the few below me and our “legs” had gone stagnant with no growth There was also another gal that got added to our “team” and immediately within a few weeks hit a 6A rank … and after being at the business for 6+ months I surprised because I was doing everything (and I have a decent following on socials) and wasn’t even close to this It made me realize that the leaders place and build certain people up to only help themselves… it seems lots of these girls making this high rank quickly all had a “hot girl vibe” or was also a gym girly like the leaders Slowly then the hype within our team died down, there was very little to no communication No team building, no stacked sales I do truly believe in the system (despite its over priced) and started to shift the way I promoted it hoping this would draw more people in I had lots of people interested and did lots of calls but no movement Once I finally realized you don’t have to invest $10K and could come in with a smaller package for people who want the business but can’t afford it, I pushed for that instead It got some movement but again quickly got stagnant I also contacted the company for this high interest loan and realized it would take me 16 years to pay off the $13K with paying the $250 per month that they promote is such a good deal to start a business… so I immediately payed that off with my own line of credit , but am still $10K in the hole and paying that off now At this point I just want to be done with the business but feel bad for leaving my team members who joined because of me I was tired of faking it, tired of posting the same things as everyone else … So lesson learned. I will never join any network marketing again This “business” definitely gives false hopes that you will be successful and it will pay off

Brave Lynx 56 — Case #4213

May 24, 2026

I joined the company because, like many people, I was looking for a legitimate way to create additional income remotely. I was not desperate for money, nor was I looking for a “get rich quick” opportunity. What drew me in was the promise of mentorship, community, personal growth, and financial freedom. I had also known two of the top leaders involved for over 25 years, which gave me a strong sense of trust and credibility going into the business. From the very beginning, I was assured that I would be supported every step of the way. I was told my upline would help me build my business, assist me when needed, and even help place people under my downline. There were endless conversations about teamwork, leadership, and community. Looking back now, I realize many of those promises were used to create a sense of security and emotional investment before any money was committed. Once I officially joined, the experience slowly began changing. The support that had been heavily promised started becoming inconsistent or nonexistent. When things did not work out the way I had been told they would, there was always an excuse or explanation. Eventually, instead of accountability from leadership, the blame shifted onto me. I was repeatedly made to feel as though I simply “wasn’t trying hard enough,” despite the amount of time, energy, and effort I was investing. As I became more involved, I noticed an unhealthy culture within the organization. There was constant pressure to follow things exactly as taught, complete every course, attend trainings, and fully adopt the team’s way of thinking. If you questioned anything, approached things differently, or struggled emotionally, you were subtly made to feel negative, resistant, or somehow responsible for your own difficulties. Rather than feeling empowered, I increasingly felt criticized, judged, and isolated. At one point, I was convinced that many of my insecurities or personal struggles were signs that I needed additional “healing” and personal development. I was persuaded to join a separate women’s group connected to the community, which cost me another $1,500 USD. The woman leading the group positioned herself as a mentor and emotional support figure despite having no formal education, credentials, or professional background in psychology, counseling, therapy, or mental health. Before payment, communication and support were constant. After joining, that support largely disappeared. Responses that were advertised as available within 24 hours often took weeks, leaving me feeling abandoned after being financially invested. One of the most disappointing parts of the experience was realizing how transactional many of the relationships within the community actually were. I genuinely believed I had built friendships with fellow distributors and members. Instead, I eventually noticed people going behind each other’s backs, monitoring one another’s social media, adding contacts from personal friends lists, and attempting to recruit or take potential leads from others within the organization. What was marketed as a supportive community often felt deeply competitive and manipulative underneath the surface. Over time, the environment began reminding me more of high school than a professional business environment. There were cliques, gossip, emotional pressure, favoritism, and constant underlying drama. As someone who normally avoids those kinds of environments and keeps a relatively private life, it became emotionally exhausting and deeply disappointing. I found myself questioning my confidence, judgment, and self-worth in ways I never had before joining. The manipulation was not obvious in the beginning. It happened gradually. The encouragement, motivation, and promises initially made me feel hopeful, supported, and excited for the future. But over time, I began realizing that much of the system relied on emotional influence, unrealistic promises, financial pressure, and keeping people constantly chasing approval, validation, and success that rarely materialized the way it was presented. What made the experience even more painful was that I reached out to people I had trusted and known for decades when I was struggling, expecting honesty, support, or at minimum accountability. Instead, I felt dismissed, ignored, or made to feel like my concerns were simply the result of not believing in myself enough or not working hard enough. As time went on, I started researching more deeply into the products and business model itself. The more I looked into it, the more concerns I found surrounding the claims being made, the lack of scientific evidence behind many of the health promises, and the cult-like atmosphere surrounding the organization. I eventually realized that I had invested emotionally, financially, and mentally into something that was not what it claimed to be. To this day, the machine I purchased remains unopened and sitting in storage. Even the first checks I received bounced, and at that point I was so emotionally drained and defeated by the entire experience that I did not even bother continuing to fight for the money back. The worst part of all is that I am now over $15,000 in debt because of the decisions and financial commitments I was encouraged to make while believing this opportunity was legitimate. That debt is something I now have to carry and recover from long after the promises, support, and “community” disappeared. Looking back now, I truly believe I was manipulated into a system that relied heavily on trust, emotional vulnerability, false promises, and psychological pressure disguised as empowerment and entrepreneurship. What started as hope for a better opportunity became one of the most disappointing and emotionally draining experiences of my life. I am sharing this anonymously not out of bitterness, but because I know there are others who may be questioning their own experience and wondering if they are alone. They are not.

Azure Hawk 30 — Case #3842

May 21, 2026

Okay I’m going to start off by saying I will stay loud and I refuse to stay silent on such a huge situation, because this is MY STORY and MY EXPERIENCE. I trusted “friends” of well over 20 years and doing that ended up costing me and my fiancé over 10 thousand dollars with high-interest loans and completely opened my eyes to an industry I now fully believe thrives on lies, deceit, manipulation all disguised as “wellness”, “your own online business,” and “financial freedom.” I got involved with Enagic believing I was joining a mission-driven wellness company. And what I experienced was SO FAR FROM. What I experienced instead was constant pressure to use their tool box full of deceit, misleading promises, emotional manipulation, and a culture where questioning anything suddenly makes YOU the problem or they just choose to ignore and ghost you after signing in. They promise you to make your money back within months yet when that doesn’t happen they make excuses or expect you to think it’s your mindset problem when in all reality it’s a sales game and pressure to recruit others. It’s a pyramid scheme that uses the products to claim it’s not. The company and the people involved want the luxury image, the boss babe branding, the “healed and wealthy” aesthetic… but the second someone speaks honestly about what happened behind the scenes? The claws come out, and that’s truly an understatement. Now I’m being threatened, bullied, ganged up on, and accused of “[removed]” simply for speaking on MY experience publicly. That should tell people everything they need to know about the people “making hundreds of thousands”. Period. If this business is so ethical, why are so many people terrified of transparency? The truth? The facts in the company? Why are people sharing cheques that aren’t their own and that goes against Enagic specific policies? Why are people saying this is the only water ionizer? When in Canada, where I’m from that’s very much not the truth. Why are Australian news outlets also warning people about Enagic!? Why are people pressured into silence? Why are questions ignored? Why are people hung up on when they ask for accountability directly from the company itself? Why are people that started this that made HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS now dropping it completely and quitting? Did they already burn all their bridges of people who trusted them? Why are there so many stories that sound EXACTLY alike hidden behind closed doors? I personally believe Enagic is operating as an MLM, pyramid scheme and SCAM wrapped in false wellness marketing, and I believe people deserve to know the risks, facts and the TRUTH BEFORE they drain savings accounts, their credit scores, sign into high-interest loans, damage relationships, or sign product agreements they don’t fully understand, or were never made aware of before getting into. There are certain people and teams that say they utilize a different “method” yet that method is to make their friends, themselves and family more money while they financially abuse others. And let’s talk about the financing side for a second, because people deserve the FULL picture, the TRUTH behind it all. In my experience, these loan arrangements were presented in ways that felt extremely misleading and confusing, especially surrounding “medical device” language and how everything was explained during recruitment, not to mention contract agreements were not reviewed or signed, submitting and signing on someone’s behalf are two VERY different things. And ontop of that the loan companies are set for doctors and specialist to my knowledge none of anyone’s “upline” is..yet the loan companies just overlook this!? That deserves scrutiny. Period. I’m not speaking up because I wanted the drama or bullshit and certainly not because I’m a “negative” person, because that’s so far from the truth. I’m speaking up because I’m DONE watching people be emotionally manipulated into debt and flat out LIED TO while being sold a fantasy lifestyle, overpriced Japanese based products and getting their livelihood and financials absolutely destroyed and their beings absolutely ripped apart. Because if I’m being honest - they will blame it on your “mindset” when you start asking questions. And the real irony behind this? The more they try to silence me, the louder this gets. Since I started sharing my story, COUNTLESS and I mean COUNTLESS people have reached out privately with similar experiences. Many have already left. Many were and are too scared to speak publicly. Many felt ashamed, isolated, or blamed themselves and they thank me for being a voice, or for warning them so they didn’t sign up, for making them aware of the truth. You are NOT crazy for asking questions. You are NOT evil for changing your mind. And you are NOT a “hater” for wanting accountability. PERIOD. This was never about destroying people. It was about exposing what I believe are deeply unethical practices hiding behind spirituality, wellness culture, social media facades and fake empowerment. I will continue using my voice. Not out of hate, but because silence protects systems that harm people. And I refuse to participate or stay silent on such issues. This is my experience and the truth behind Enagic.

Amber Crane 63 — Case #7103

May 14, 2026

As a single mother who had recently lost her job, I was specifically targeted through a social media ad promising "financial freedom for families." The recruiter emphasized that I could work from home and earn $3,000-$8,000 per month. During the onboarding, I was directed to a third-party lender who approved me for a $4,000 "business starter" loan at extremely high interest. The recruiter assured me I would recoup the investment within two weeks. Three months later, I am $6,000 in debt with no income generated from the program. When I tried to get support, I was told I "wasn't trying hard enough."

Silent Falcon 17 — Case #4821

May 14, 2026

I was approached online by a recruiter who promised $5,000 monthly income with "minimal effort." They asked me to write a personal check for $2,500 as a "good faith deposit" that would be returned within 30 days. The check was cashed immediately. When I asked about the promised team support, my recruiter stopped responding to messages. I later discovered the lending agreement I signed had a 28% interest rate buried in the fine print. The "team stacking" they promised never materialized — I was left alone trying to recruit others just to cover my losses.

The recruiter showed me screenshots of their own earnings — what they claimed was $12,000 in a single month. They said I just needed to write a check for $1,800 to "secure my position" on their team. After I paid, I was given access to a basic website template and told to recruit five more people. The "team stacking" support they promised consisted of a single group chat where my questions were ignored. When I asked for a refund after two months of zero earnings, the recruiter cited a "non-refundable investment clause" in the contract I had signed.
